San Francisco de Macorís.- La directora Regional de Educación 07 que comprende las provincias Duarte y Hermanas Mirabal, María Guadalupe Bruno de Durán, participó este jueves 16 de noviembre, en el acto de clausura de los X Juegos Escolares Deportivos Nacionales Barahona 2023, los cuales tuvieron como subsedes a San Juan, Azua y Bahoruco.
En la ceremonia, encabezada por el director ejecutivo del INEFI, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, se hizo entrega de la bandera que simboliza la realización de los próximos Juegos Escolares, que tendrá por sede esta dirección Regional de Educación 07.
Bruno de Durán, agradeció al presidente de la República, Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona, al ministro de Educación, Ángel Hernández y el director del Instituto Nacional de Educación Física, Alberto Rodríguez, por apoyar siempre, todas las actividades educativas y por haber elegido, la Regional 07 para los próximos juegos, la cual les espera con mucha alegría y entusiasmo, para vivir esa hermosa experiencia que nos ayuda a conocer más personas, a compartir y competir de una manera sana en diferentes disciplinas y a celebrar el éxitos de todos como buenos atletas y domicanos que somos.
En la fiesta del deporte escolar participaron más de 3,500 atletas, representantes de nueve regionales en 19 disciplinas, dejando un legado de importantes obras deportivas en la región Sur.
